This Macbook A1260 was brought in because it was making a loud chirping noise when it was on. It was quite annoying, because it sounded as if someone was scratching your ear drum with a piece of rusted nail.
Anyhow, we opened it up, cleaned the dust inside and noticed that the fan in fact was defective and was making loud noise. It happens every now and then. Fans are made of plastic and sometimes they just go out of order like that.
So we went ahead ordered the fan and client picked her computer up in two days working perfectly!
